HDD Installation, Assigning

Problem:
"I have successfully installed the External USB
2.0 Enclosure on my system. The new unformatted HDD is set to "Master" but
I am not able to find the new drive in my system. It does not show up in
Windows Explorer."

Solution:
Perform Steps Below |
1. Open the control panel
2. Open Administrative Tools
3. Open Computer Management
4. Go to "Storage->Disk Management"
5. Right-Click the drive to assign a drive letter
The new HDD should now appear in Windows Explorer. It can now be
formatted.
If that procedure does
not work, you are still not able to access the HDD and if the enclosure is
connected to an USB 1.1 host controller,
you should apply the HOTFIX for Windows 2000/XP.
