PCMCIA Serial Card: Unable to establish a connection to serial device

Problem:
"The product has been installed successfully and the new COM Port shows up without warnings in the device manager. However, it is not possible to establish a connection to any serial device connected to the adapter."


Solution: Change driver settings

Locate the COM Port in the device manager, then open the properties dialog. Make the changes as indicated by the red circles.

Restart your computer.
